Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has opened a village called Taze Zaman (New Age) in the Ahal Province, located 40km west of Ashkhabad. It was built in two years, consisting of two-storey cottages for one and two families. Families get 5-room housing worth 305,000 manats (over $107,000).
