38 soldiers were killed in 36 incidents in the Armenian Armed Forces in January-September 2014. 25 died in January-September 2013.
20 of the 38 were killed when violating the ceasefire regime, 6 by accident, 4 were murdered (2 violated safety rules when handling weapons, 2 shot). Three cases were a result of violating duty rules, 3 had health problems, 1 violated the rules of handling weapons, 1 committed suicide.
About 22% of all deaths were a result of violations of the ceasefire regime in the previous 5 years. The rate reached 52% in the first half of this year.
