Russian senator grants Chechen leader oldest Quran copy

 

Ziyad Sabsabi, a Russian senator, has granted Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov a unique 8-sided copy of the Holy Quran. The book is over 1,300 years old. Elders of Iraq, Syria and Lebanon decided to grant him the book. It was presented at morning prayers.Kadyrov has been a keeper of holy relics since 2012. The items related to Prophet Mohammad cannot be moved without his permission.
