A criminal case has been initiated against police officers of the Levashinsky District of Dagestan. The officers were allegedly using their status to hire illegal Vietnamese migrants for renovation work in the yard of their police station and the house of a Naskent resident in May-September 2014, Yuga.ru reports.
The resident was allegedly accommodating the migrants for their work.
A criminal case was initiated only against the resident. The migrants were fined 2,000 rubles and deported.
