German journalists detained in Turkey released

Three German journalists - Björn Kietzmann, Christian Grodotzki and Ruben Martin Neugebauer - detained in Turkey’s Diyarbakir yesterday for alleged espionage and provocations, have been released today after 30 hours of arrest, RIA Novosti reports.

The journalists were covering protests by Kurds against the reluctance of the Turkish government to fight Islamic State.
