According to a repeated inspection of Eternal Flame memorials carried out by the United People's Front and Dagestani executives, there is only one active Eternal Flame in Dagestan, it is located at the Victory Park in Makhachkala, RIA Dagestan reports.
Analogical memorials in two other areas of Makhachkala, in the cities of Izberbash, Buynaksk, Derbent, Kizilyurt, Kizlyar, Dagogni, Kaspiysk and Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk were either inactive or lit only on holidays. The United people's Front demanded executives to fix all the memorials.
