400 liters of ayran were made at the Third Folk and Ethnographic Ayran Festival of Karachay-Balkarian Culture called "The ayran festival in Honey Waterfalls" at the Malokarachayevsky District. It was organized by Mussa Botashev to boost ethnic tourism and break stereotypes about Caucasians.
The first day was dedicated to cuisine, the second to Karachay horses. On October 19, a horse exhibition was organized.
