Symptoms of rabies have been registered in 9 residential areas of 6 municipalities in Dagestan. Three cases of infected cattle were registered in the Kirovsky District, one in the Sovetsky District of Makhachkala, two in the Babayurtovsky District and two in Kizilyurtovsky, RIA Dagestan reports.
Seven cattle, two cats and a dog were killed to stop infection. They had all been infected by wild animals.
