Georgian and Azerbaijani minister of education open schools in Zhmanisi and Gardabani

The Azerbaijani and Georgian ministers of education have opened two
schools in the Georgian cities of Zhmanisi and Gardabani, sponsored by
the Heydar Aliyev Fund, Trend reports.


Ministers Misir Mardanov and Dmitry Shashkin congratulated the pupils
of school N3 in Gardabani and school N2 in Zhmanisi (Kvemo Kartli
region) on the new school year.


Shashkin thanked his Azerbaijani counterpart and noted the role of the
Heydar Aliyev Fund.


Mardanov emphasized that Azerbaijan cares about its citizens in
Georgia and does its best to provide the necessary level of education.
The two schools had new roofs, doors and windows, and heating systems
installed. They have advanced equipment, sport halls, canteens,
toilets. Both schools have their own water reservoirs.
