A criminal case was initiated into fabrication of evidence and exceeding authority with violence, after three officers of the Dagestani Directorate of the Federal Drug Control Service were suspected of planting drugs on others, TASS reports.
In Makhachkala, in June 2014, according to investigators, the officers stopped a car driven by a man with past records of drug trafficking. They did not find any drugs and brought the man to the Anzhi-Arena Stadium near Kaspiysk. The officers allegedly beat the man and put marijuana in his pockets. They staged a purchase of the drugs and recorded the process.
