U.S. President Barack Obama stated that his country deeply appreciated the friendship and cooperation with Turkmenistan, which met their mutual interests in favor of peace and prosperity in the world.
His message came in a letter to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
According to Obama, the bilateral top-level consultations which took place in January in Ashkhabad demonstrated broad prospects for cooperation.
