The Iranian police have saved the Arak heavy-water reactor from sabotage, according to Asghar Zarean, deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, TASS reports.
Zarean said that there was an attempt to sabotage heavy-water containers.
The official reminded that there had been previous attempts at sabotage, such as an attack of computer viruses on nuclear facilities. Zarean urged the population to stay calm and assured that Iran’s nuclear facilities are safe.
