Tatyana Gamaley has been appointed as the minister of national policy of Dagestan. In August this year her predecessor in this post, Alexey Gasanov, was named deputy head of the administration of the head and the government of the republic.Tatyana Gamaley was born on 16 November 1960 in Khasavyurt. From 1990 she was deputy dean of the philology faculty of Dagestan State University (DSU). From 2007 to 2011 she was the head of the editorial and publishing faculty of DSU. From 2011 she was the head of the department of journalism of the faculty of philology, a member of the academic council of DSU. From 2013 she was deputy head of the administration of Makhachkala. She is a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia and Dagestan.
