The UN Commission on Human Rights declared that Israel has to stop construction of settlements in the West Bank.Its experts urged Israel "to stop confiscation of lands, withdraw Jewish settlers from the occupied territories and take measures to prevent violence against Palestinians," Reuters agency reports. They also declared the need "to stop retaliatory operations on destruction of the Palestinian and Bedouin neighbourhoods in the West Bank and to investigate the crimes committed by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip."
