Spice drug maker from Chechnya detained in Sochi

The Sochi drug police have detained a 24-year-old drug dealer at the railway station. The police found over 1.5kg of drug plants and less than 320g of it in packages. The powder was identified as JWH narcotic substance used for processing into spice. 1.2kg of it can be used to produce up to 40kg of spice, about 40,000 doses, RIA Novosti reports.

The owner of the powder has been arrested.

The problem of spice drugs became topical in Russia in mid-September. Over 2,000 people have got health problems because of spice, over 40 of them died.
