The four militants killed in the Sunzhensky District of Chechnya on the Ingush border this morning were identified as Ruslan Akhmatov, 40, from the Nadterechny District, Ramzan Esnukayev, 31, from the Sunzhensky District, Imran Khanamagomadov, 21, from the Urus-Martanovsky District and Sayid Shishbulatov from Grozny. They were on the federal wanted list as members of Beslan Makhauri's gang, Yuga.ru reports.
The gang is responsible for the explosion of a suicide bomber at a police station in Sernovodsk in September 2013. The police started searches for the gang after receiving information that Makhauri had ordered the four to plant and activate mines.
