Sergeant injures himself during hunt in North Osssetia

A senior sergeant aged 28 from Terskaya (North Ossetia) serving at military base N3737 since 2012 was injured during a boar hunt in the Mozdok District (North Ossetia). He accidentally shot himself during the hunt, while others were about 200m away from him, a witness says, TASS reports.

The sergeant was found unconscious with a bullet wound in a shoulder. Military prosecutors are investigating the incident.

The hunting season started in North Ossetia on August 16. It will continue until February 15, 2015. No incidents with hunting guns were registered during the previous season.
