Turkish vice prime minister does not want Europe's largest synagogue to become a museum

Turkish Vice Prime Minister Bulent Arinc has spoken out against Edirne Governor Dursun Ali Shahin’s idea to turn the largest synagogue in Europe situated in the province into a museum, RIA Novosti reports.

A week ago, Shahin made such a proposal in response to the actions of Israel against the Palestinian population at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem.
