Women who made significant contributions to socio-economic and cultural development of Kabardino-Balkaria will be nominated to be given the title Woman of the Year. Lida Degesheva, the head of the Nalchik Council of Women, said that republican ministries, agencies and public organizations will propose candidates for the title.
The Woman’s Sympathy special prize will also be awarded.
The Woman of the Year title will be given in the following nominations: Professionalism, Humanism and Charity, Muse Service, Active Life Position, Active State and Municipal Service.
Traditionally Kabardino-Balkaria will mark Mother’s Day for the 16th time. The state concert hall in Nalchik will organize a concert.
