Khidzhran Huseynova, the head of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Problems of Families, Women and Children, said today at a conference on national and moral values of families that young people in Azerbaijan were affected by TV shows about break-ups of families. She said that young people should be given more examples of traditional families, Trend reports.
According to her information, Azerbaijan has about 2 million families, adding 80,000 families to that every year.
