Tourists who travel for their New Year holidays to the North Caucasus will be under intense attention from the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov turned to his subordinates on a conference call with the relevant request, dealing with the safety of Russians during the long New Year "vacation."
"A large number of tourists are coming to the North Caucasus, to the region of Caucasian Mineral Waters, mountain clusters. Everyone should be under your monitoring if they need help and support," Interfax quotes Puchkov.
