Beslan Tsintsalashvili, 25, from Georgia will go on trial in Chechnya for trying to recruit two residents of Grozny as terrorists in July-August 2014. He was encouraging them to join militants in Syria and fight against its government and help form an extremist state, RIA Novosti reports.
Tsintsalashvili promised to help them get passports to enter Syria.
The recruiter may get up to 10 years of imprisonment.
