3 people died in a car collision near Dranda (Gulrypsh District, Abkhazia) on the night of December 8-9. One of the cars caught fire, people inside it died. The driver and three passengers in the other car are under intensive care, only two of them have been identified, TASS reports.
103 people died in 212 car accidents in Abkhazia in two years, 268 people were injured. Most people killed in car accidents were aged 18-30. The main causes of car accidents in Abkhazia are alcohol and careless driving at high speed.
