Businessman Ayrpetyan to stay under house arrest until April 19

The Basmanny Court of Moscow has extended Armenian businessman Levon Ayrapetyan’s house arrest until April 19. His lawyer Rudolf Ambartsumov admitted that house arrest was better than detention but a still a problem, considering that the suspect of theft and money laundering from Bashneft shares was diagnosed with bladder cancer, RIA Novosti reports.

Ayrapetyan is currently in hospital.
