Rostelecom organized the "Safe Internet" lessson for 8th-graders in Maikop. Pupils were taught about the Internet risks and their prevention, said Susanna Paranuk, the head of the education committee of the Maikop administration, Yuga.ru reports.
Alexander Cherkashin, deputy director of the Krasnodar office of Rostelecom, noted that the Internet had a great effect on children and teenagers and should not be left without control by the education system and parents. He noted that the "Child in the House" service allowed parents to block or limit access to unwanted Internet resources.
