Swedes fighting within ISIS ranks return home

 

Operative Chief of the Swedish State Security Service (Säpo) Anders Kassman said that about 40 Swedes fighting in the ranks of ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria could have probably returned home, Gazeta.ru reports.According to Säpo, 110 Swedes have joined terrorists in Syria since 2012, about 25-30 of them died, 40 returned. Syria has become the most popular destination for young Muslims in Sweden. Two years ago, Somalia and Afghanistan were the most popular.Kassman noted that the problem should be solved wisely and without panic.Earlier reports had said about 60 German members of ISIS killed in the war. There was also information plans to ban British Jihadists from returning to the UK for two years.
