Yuri Skripalev, 42, from Apsheronsk, who murdered the head of the Svyato-Pokrovsky Church in Belorechensk in October 2013, has been sentenced to 12 years of jail, RIA Novosti reports.
The convict hit the priest on the head using a rock, then strangled him. He then set the priest's house on fire. Skripalev then hid the body in his car and left the scene. The conflict was allegedly caused by the priest's affect on the man's nephew.
