28% of Turks want the country to join the EU, according to social polls initiated by the European Commission. 1,087 people were questioned in different provinces of Turkey, RIA Novosti reports.
39% of people questioned were against joining the EU, 25% expressed indifference, 8% could not answer. In May, 38% wanted to join the EU, 33% were opposed to it.
