The government of Kabardino-Balkaria will give all WWII veterans in the republic 20,000 rubles for the New Year, said Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Kabardino-Balkaria Albert Tyubeyev, Interfax reports.
Kabardino-Balkarian Leader Yuri Kokov ordered executives to present 20,000 rubles to 434 veterans. Overall, the government will spend about 9 million rubles.
