Five people were injured in an attack of Antalya residents on houses of Syrian refugees. The attack followed a brawl in Manavgat while the refugees were working in fields. Four people were detained by the police, four houses and two cars were damaged. 70 refugees were evacuated to avoid any further tensions, RIA Novosti reports.
Antalya Governor Muammar Turker said that 1,500 refugees received warrants from the government to leave the province. In his words, farmers use Syrians as cheap labour. The government does not want Syrian refugees to stay in Antalya forever, according to the governor.
