7 bodies found in AirAsia crash search area

In the area of the supposed crash of the airplane of AirAsia another seven bodies have been found. Thus, at the moment 16 bodies have been found in the search area.


“Two of the seven bodies were carried to a base in Pangkalan Bun on Kalimantan for identification,” Huanqiu Shibao cites a representative of the search and rescue bureau in Indonesia. According to him, another five bodies were left on a rescue boat in Indonesia and will be brought later.

The Commander of Malaysian Naval Forces, Abdul Asis Jafar, reported on his Twitter page that experts from Indonesia, Singapore and France have joined in the search for the “black boxes” in the Java Sea.

155 passengers and 7 crew members were flying on an Airbus A320-200 from Surabaya to Singapore on December 28th.
