A man found guilty of financing terrorism has been identified as a resident of the Chegemsky region of Kabardino-Balkaria, who helped the rebels with an amount of more than one million rubles.
"It was found that the 48-year-old defendant had financed a terrorist group in the Chegemsky district of Kabardino-Balkaria since 2011 with a total amount of more than one million rubles, and also provided storage of firearms, ammunition and explosives," according to the press service of the republic's directorate of the FSB.
After the weapons were seized, ammunition and components for improvised explosive devices were found in his house.
