Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has pneumonia, doctors who examined him believe. The monarch was hospitalized on December 31 at a hospital in Riyadh.
The medical examination revealed pneumonia, which required the provisional insertion of a tube, France Press reports a statement by the royal court.
It is not reported how long the king will need to remain in hospital or how long he will have to breathe through a tube.
