Ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone violated 83 times in one day
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported today about 83 violations of the ceasefire on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops on the border between the two countries over the past day.
In particular, from positions near the village of Berkaber in Armenia's Ijevan region, positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were shelled in the village of Gizilhajili in the Gazakh district (ie, the most distant border area from the occupied territories). Another village in the Gazakh region, Farahli, came under the fire from positions near the village of Shavarshavan in the Noyemberian district.
Alibeyli and Agdam, villages in the Tovuz region, came under fire from Armenian military positions near the villages of Aygepar and Mosesgeh in the Berd district, Trend reports.
Azerbaijani positions were also fired at from positions in the villages of Chayli, Geyarh, Chilyaburt, Seysulan Terrterskiy, Goranboy Tapgaragoyunlu, Yusifjanly, Marzili, Kengerli, Shuraabad, Shikhlar, Novruzlu, Garagashli, Dzhavahirli Agdamskiy, Kuropatkino Khojavandskiy, Goradiz Garakhanbeily, Gorgan, Ashagi Veyselli, Ashagy Seyidahmedli Fizuli, Jabrail Mehdili districts.
In addition, firing was conducted from positions in the nameless heights of the Goranboy, Khojavend and Jabrail districts. The shooting was suppressed by return fire.
