The Dagestani Ministry for State Property Management has found 199 villages with a population of about 78,600 people in the republic after a census, Region Online reports.
The previous census was organized in 1950. The new villages recently discovered are a problem for cattling because their herding routes happened to be going through the villages. The new villages were put on the list of Dagestani residential areas.
