A militant involved in attacks and murders of police has been killed
in a special operation in Makhachkala. He was the organizer of an
attack on the head of a municipality in Dagestan, RIA Novosti reports,
citing the National Counter-Terrorist Committee (NCTC).
The counter-terrorist operation started at 8.00 (Moscow time) on
Salikhov Street in Makhachkala. Naib Nasirov, 1989, member of a
terrorist group in Khasavyurt, was killed.
The police also detained a man suspected of terrorism.
