The President of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine International Alliance, Elmar Mamedov, has appealed to General Prosecutor Vitaly Yarema. Mamedov said that entrepreneurs Shaig Hasanov and Ram Atakishiyev were beaten on the first and second of January.
"The Azerbaijani public is very concerned about what happened, the gratuitous violence on the lives and health of our citizens was not a random act, both citizens are businessmen and were beaten in the presence of their wives and children," Trend quotes Mamedov's appeal.
Shaig Hasanov was attacked while walking with his wife and child. Ram Atakishiyev was driving when an unknown vehicle clipped his car. Armed men beat him until he lost consciousness and left the scene of the crime, deciding that he was dead. Both incidents were filed at the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
