Earthquake hits Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea

An earthquake has hit the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea, according to the Republican Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).

 

The earthquake was recorded at 19:30 local time. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5 on the Richter scale, while its depth was 50 km, ANS reports. The tremors were not felt on the ground.
