The press service of the Main Directorate of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia in Dagestan has declared there is a danger of avalanches in the mountains of the republic.
In this regard, there is a possibility of emergency situations not higher than of a municipal character, associated with damage in the upland areas of federal highways and local roads, cable cars, buildings, communication and power lines.
"We kindly request you to refrain from long-distance travel and hiking in the avalanche areas, and to be vigilant and cautious," the UGA portal cited the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Measures in the Republic of Dagestan.
