This morning an explosion took place in Villefranche-sur-Saône in the east of France. According to local mass media, the incident happened in a restaurant which is situated close to a mosque.
According to initial data, nobody was injured. The police are going to initiate a thorough investigation. “It is a criminal act,” a representative of the prefecture stressed.
The explosion took place the day after a terrorist attack on the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, which took away 12 lives.
