In Azerbaijan 76 units of unexploded ammunition, 17 anti-personnel mines and one anti-tank mine were found and defused in December.
All demining operations were carried out by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA). 484 sappers, 118 support staff members, 6 mechanical demining machines and 36 dogs participated in explosive ordnance disposal. Demining work does not stop in the Agdam, Aghjabadi, Agstafa, Fuzuli, Gazakh and Tartar districts of Azerbaijan.
