Unidentified assailants threw a sonic grenade into the yard of Khaluyev, the rector of a higher education center in Ingushetia, at about 7.30pm yesterday. No one was in the area, so no injuries were sustained, Interfax reports.The rector and his family left the house yesterday after a conflict with neighbours. Three people were wounded and one died in an armed incident. The grenade was allegedly thrown from the house of the other side of the conflict.
