People injured in Euromaidan could be equated to disabled war veterans

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted amendments to the law on the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection in the first reading. 233 MPs voted for them.


In case of adoption of the draft, those who suffered during the Euromaidan will be equated to disabled war veterans: the law will cover those who have become “disabled people due to injuries and other health damage incurred during the mass protests in Ukraine from November 21st 2013 to February 21st 2014,” TASS reports.
