Representatives of the Coordinating Council of Russian compatriot-residents of Azerbaijan will take part in a world
conference of Russian compatriots entitled "The contribution of Russian compatriots to the modernization of Russia" in Moscow on October 7-8, 1news.az reports.
Eminent diaspora figures, such as the head of the Russian community in Azerbaijan, A. Voronin, will attend the forum. Mr Voronin stressed that the event should rally all the world's Russian national organizations in common efforts to promote cooperation between them. He also mentioned that the Russian community in Azerbaijan is ready to discuss not only Russian problems, but Azerbaijani ones as well.
