Minister of Justice of Georgia Thea Tsulukiani does not intend to sign a decree on Mikhail Kadiev's extradition to Russia, who is suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in Georgia and accused of illegally possessing weapons.
"A decree on the extradition of a person to another country needs to be signed by the Minister of Justice. I'm not going to sign it," RIA Novosti cited her.
"Kadiev committed a crime on the territory of Georgia in 2013. He is serving his term, which ends in June," added the head of the Ministry of Justice.
As "Vestnik Kavkaza" reported, Mikhail Kadiev is suspected of murdering the head of the Khasavyurt district, Alimsoltan Alhamatov, for which Moscow is seeking his extradition from Tbilisi.
