A memorial plaque to Leyla Albogachiyeva has been placed on Elbrus by North Ossetian mountaineers Vladimir Korenkov and Eduard Denisenko. The idea of commemorating the mountaineer Albogachiyeva, who died ascending Elbrus in autumn 2014, belongs to her Ingush friend Ahmed Tochiyev.
The plaque was placed at the Priyut-11 section at a height of 4,200m. Albogachiyeva went missing on September 22. Her body was found at a height of 5,200m on Elbrus on October 3. Ingush Leader Yunus-bek Yevkurov named a sports complex in Ali-Yurt (Nazranovsky District) after Albogachiyeva.
