Today in Iran, in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan near the town of Khash, militants attacked law-enforcement officers. As a result, one police officer was killed and two were injured. This was reported by the head of the provincial police, Brigadier-General Hossein Rahimi.
The police console received a call reporting that an accident had occured in Nukabad. When the police arrived on the scene, it turned out that the call was a trap: they came under fire from unidentified militants hiding in a car, Trend reports.
