Firefighters are trying to put out a fire that started today at 5 am in a wine and liquor warehouse in Kabardino-Balkaria's capital Nalchik, ITAR-TASS reports. No one was injured.
The press-service of the local Ministry of Emergency Situations department said that the cause of the fire is most likely arson. In the past few months there have been several cases of arson registered in Kabardino-Balkarian wine and liquor stores. The owners of the stores have been threatened by an extremist group demanding a halt to
the sale of alcohol.
