The hearing of Dzhokhar Tsarnayev’s case has been postponed from January 26 due to the long process of jury selection. No new date for the hearing has been set, TASS reports.
The judicial process of 21-year-old Tsarnayev started in Boston on January 5. The judge needs to choose 12 main and 6 additional members of the jury out of 1,350 candidates. Prosecutors demand the death penalty for Tsarnayev for his terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon in April 2013. His lawyers insist on life imprisonment for their client.
