Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov has discussed Azerbaijan-Saudi bilateral cooperation in the sphere of education with Saudi Arabian officials, reports Trend.
During the meeting with the head of the Saudi Arabian Islamic University Mohammed Ben Ali Al-Okla, Mardanov expressed his hope for the future development of the relations between the two countries' universities.
Al-Okla spoke about the Saudi interest in the global spread of Islamic science, pointing out that each year about 30,000 students from 167 countries graduate from the Saudi Arabian Islamic University.
